Amid the blazing throat.....

This chick got tired. Yes I may be sick and have had my pills now for 24 hours but coming into school today-I just wanted to scream! Due to the people staying at the dorms, them and their wonderful parking spaces!, deciding that they too need the General parking. You see because they had to pay money for their their little parking pass they now get to have both the resident parking and General parking. Now it doesn't seem fair. Take for instance the parking behind Red Hill. Half of it is Restricted and the other half is General. Now when classes started I was able for a good 4 weeks get a parking space there-I usually have to run from my class to my car to get home and change and head off to work. Now-all but about 5 of the parking spaces up there are residents of the dorms. Now how fair is that? I get it-poor you-you have to pay to have parking. GET OVER IT! I do too! Neither do I have buses that run my butt from my house to school and back without paying for it nor can I just roll right out of bed and be on campus once I walk out the doors. It's a good mile from my house to campus. Besides anyways when doesn't ISU come up with more great ideas for more ways to take money from the students? I'm glad to say that once this semester is over and I'm able to talk to someone that this just might be my last semester dealing with this crap. As much as I have always wanted to go to college, I know it's not the right place for me anymore. It was fun while it lasted and I made the bestest friend I will ever need but I am not made for this. And those of you who know me know it.

Well loves and loves

I'm fed up.....

http://www.kcra.com/news/17934538/detail.html

And this is why. I am appalled at the fact that when one part of a state, 2%, had barely any affect at all on this subject, is now turning into a nationwide pointing of fingers. This would not be the first time that something like this has been turned down and so why NOW of all times that a particular religion who's only efforts is to help where help is needed and has NEVER said anything out right against any particular persons is now the focus of so much hate. Granted, a lot of funding for yes on Prop 8 was done by those who are MEMBERS of the LDS church-but not the church within itself. And those who are saying that particular leaders are saying this is not the church itself-but the person who said it.

I am a member of the LDS church and have quite a few gay friends. And I love them for who they are. Not because I believe that in some futile way I can change them so for what I believe will happen when I pass on-that I will see them at that glorious day and have them to talk to forever. No. Am I sitting there with them telling them that they are wrong and should never have anything given to them? No. I will do as I believe is right. As the doctrine of our church states-you love the sinner, not the sin. Not that I'm throwing stones here. I know that I've done things that my beliefs state isn't right-so therefore I'm not one to have a holier than thou attitude but for this I just can't keep my mouth shut. Doing what they are doing now-besides the protesting (they have every right to do so but to vandalise or even threaten to burn down or attempt something when someone is getting married)-is not just blowing off steam. It makes me scared to go down there to visit my friend or even move down there for that purpose for my personal safety. For reals, on this anyone who could had their hand in this.

Either way you look at it-it's not right. I know there are a lot of people who are not voicing their oppinions on this but I just feel incredibly sad about this issue. I just will hope for the best and pray that everyone can have tolerance towards each other.
